Cabin Air Filter
Hi Y'all, I've wanted to change my air filter for awhile now, but never really had time to do it. Yesterday i finally got time to change the filter on my baby G. I got some pictures.

Also, I am about to reach 40k miles and I was wondering what would be the proper maintenance to do?

It was the first time changing my cabin filter, i am not going to lie it took me awhile to figure it out. I am not really great with the tools either but i just followed the tutorial in the DIY section and I managed to pull through. I found out theres two ways of doing it, one is using a extended screw driver to take the whole console down, and the second is to take the front cover of the console down then take the back part down. Personally i think the second method is a little easier as my screw driver wasnt long enough. Once figured out it takes minutes to get to the filter. How much is the transmission and differential oil change?
I did my cabin filter today along with a little treatment. Already did the Differential and that was extremely easy, maybe even easier than an oil change. The 6mt transmission is similar and very easy and cheap to do. I plan to tackle the transmission fluid in 1 month with couple other local members.
My filter was nasty looking and worse than what is pictured. I was glad to have that taken care of and have the car back to factory fresh smell. The cost of the filter was $19.99 and took about 30 mins time to do in the dark using a light and netbook for instruction.
thanks

I am not about to spend money on a filter when you can take a nice powerful vacuum and suck all that dirt off. I did that twice already. Save me some money if i can.
