Anyone ever imported a G35 from a different country into the US? i want to import one but dont know what is required from me? Do they have to have the car meet certain regulations before it passes US borders?

the reason i ask about the military is b/c you can ship one car back for free. Military pays for it. But everything has to go through inspection.

Chances are it won't be to US specs, and the money t convert, unless he/she's rich may not be worth the trouble. It may be simple however. Things like bumper, and windshield will/may need to be replaced.

Would suggest you contact the DMV in the state the car will be moved to. In addition car will have to meet US Fed regulations before you'll be able to register the car and drive it off the lot.

Does this car have a lot of work done to it? If not, I can't see it being anywhere near worth all the cost and hassle.

Yeah I have to side with these guys. I don't think it would be very cost effictive to deal with the shipping nor will it be worth your time to get everything worked out.

Just take a look at this link..
