I bought an M shift **** off ebay and noticed that the prongs or clips on the bottom have been cut or broken off. Is that part needed?

it should still work, those prongs are for support, it still has the groove for the metal clip so i don't think it will be too bad. if you want to get rid of it i have 2 oem ***** that i am willing to trade.

^whs, on the Gs its not really needed since its doesnt have anything to clip into, im guessing the last guy cut em off to get the **** to sit lower.

it was a bitch making a groove for the M ****, i tried a serrated knife, steak knife and lil saw and still had problems making a groove deep enough

Awesome ****. Just checked Ebay and can't believe how much these go for. Might have to wait on it.
