What is the stock HR block made of?

What is the stock HR block made of?

I want to know because i want to have an identical one made out of titanium or aluminum so i can be lighter and drive faster and be able to take 1000 whp supras on the 1/4 mile

I once had a '92 Civic HB with a titanium block that blew the doors off any 1000hp Supra you could find. I even filled the cabin & hatch with helium balloons for further weight reduction- car sat at 800lbs with the driver.

I'm no car expert.. but I don't see any need for a titanium block.. unless you are protecting it from a piston breaking through...

Instead.. get your Pistons/Rods made out of titanium.. then you can boost it like a mother and may have a chance against a Supra..

This helium balloons is an awesome idea, I might fill the tires with it also, thanks for the tip!

I think our blocks are made of adamantium. I think OP's head is made out of blocks.....

carbotanium sounds like a great idea to use in a lightweight block! i wonder who i could get to make that for me for less than $20,000

The block and heads are made of aluminum. I think the best option for high HP would be to sleeve the stock block.

Yea sure. No problem. But i just got a huuge order from McLaren's F1 team for some custom parts. So i won't be able to get to your part for a bit. I then have to fufill yamaha motogp's teams special order for their 2012 bike.
