Phones don't output video through the AUX headphone hole.

That's why those cables don't exist. It won't work unless you have like an HDMI or some sort of video dedicated output on your phone. Unless you have an iPhone, then there is a dock connector for all the outputs (video/audio) then it will work.

 

^^thanks, what about for an ipod nano/ipod touch? i dont want a dock but are there cables that convert the ipod plug thing into RCA?

wow thats awesome, but hella expensive! might try to find one of those in a salvage yard! i didnt know they were so easy interchangeable with the non-nav systems!

 

It's not easy and his price is a steal IMO. Especially since he's also willing to write-up a DIY for the buyer.
I know that you know what these parts cost new.
