R2C CAI mod
R2C CAI mod
I originally bought injen CAI intakes, loved the sound and the little hp they gave but hated the fact that they took on water to much even with the hydrosheilds.
So then i came across R2C. I liked this intakes the sound wasnt good as it was on the injen but the problem with the R2C was the pipes where getting really hot.
When i had fun, i coudent even keep my hand on them. So i tried something i don't know if anyone else had done this but it did help. I went to advance auto parts and bought some heat shield. Now i could have done a better job of putting the heat shields on but they do the job.
After all said and done i decided to go back to my stock intakes and now i will be posting the R2C intakes up for sale soon.

how did the heat shield work out?
btwfyilol even though the pipes get mad hot from being next to the engine, they dun have time to heat up the air going through them because the air is moving so fast so it should not be hot air so your engine should be fine IINM
