Can grounding wires really help this much?
I didn't notice any difference in my shifting, though I do think my Bose stereo sounds a bit better, that may be placebo effect however.
I made my own kit (I have a ton of 4 gauge wire, connectors, tech flex, etc, as I do wiring tucks/engine conversions on Mazda RX7s) so I did some nice covered/glue shrinked leads.
I simply ran from the batter to the passenger side inner fender factory ground point, from there to the factory engine ground, and from there to the passenger factory ground point. Your engine/transmission have a massive amount of metal between them, there is no need to ground the engine block and transmission separately. If you have sensors inducing that much noise, that they need a 4 gauge ground right by them, they have an issue, or should have had a reference ground in their design.
