Resonator delete... Horrible idea.
Resonator delete... Horrible idea.
After getting my resonators taken out, I am extremely disappointed. Its almost embarassing drive around with them off. I guess Ill just put them back on. Question though, Im looking for just two Stillen Mufflers. Not the whole system but just the mufflers... Anyone know where to get those? Also open to other types of mufflers but like the sound of those the best I think.. Thanks!
Not really any gains I dont believe. Its actually not AS bad as I first thought it was but Im not too much of a fan. I wondering if anyone knows where to just buy mufflers?? I actually want the Greddy Spectrum Elite mufflers but cant seem to find just the mufflers!
I doubt it. He probably lost some power if anything lol.
Check some vendors, those things are hard to come by.

Most aftermarket catbacks do not try to dupicate the stock exhaust in terms of exact lines and attachments. The Tanabe axleback cost a good chuck of change but sounds good too, but imho, for a little bit more, you could get a catback and also net some hp.
ya i just have a buddy with a shop and he is real talented( even though you dont really have to be) with makin pipes and makin everything look and sound great. I just want those Greddy Mufflers!!!
Magnaflow Exhaust ... or Flowmaster.
They make various different setups. Do some research on youtube. Or if you want to spend a pretty penny.... Motordyne makes awesome products.

You have to be very precise with exhaust piping.
Pipe dimension, angles, joints, etc... everything plays a role with your engines power and fuel consumption along with noise.
... Don't believe me?
Go outside and turn on your car.... This thread wouldn't be up if that was the case.
Sorry for taking it a bit personal...
Just I've been welding and modifying my own exhaust trying to "dial it in" trust me.. not easy.
I'm on my 7th setup. As a welder / fabricator one knows that you are constantly learning so for someone to say it's easy.... "L O L"
