Resonator delete... Horrible idea.

After getting my resonators taken out, I am extremely disappointed. Its almost embarassing drive around with them off. I guess Ill just put them back on. Question though, Im looking for just two Stillen Mufflers. Not the whole system but just the mufflers... Anyone know where to get those? Also open to other types of mufflers but like the sound of those the best I think.. Thanks!

Interesting! You get any gains with just the mufflers!

Check some vendors, those things are hard to come by.

If I was you I would get a 10" or 16" resonator, a good muffler, and stainless steel customer piping. It shouldn't cost you more that $400-500.

Most aftermarket catbacks do not try to dupicate the stock exhaust in terms of exact lines and attachments. The Tanabe axleback cost a good chuck of change but sounds good too, but imho, for a little bit more, you could get a catback and also net some hp.

Magnaflow Exhaust ... or Flowmaster.

They make various different setups. Do some research on youtube. Or if you want to spend a pretty penny.... Motordyne makes awesome products.

ohhhhh, so wrong...

You have to be very precise with exhaust piping.

Pipe dimension, angles, joints, etc... everything plays a role with your engines power and fuel consumption along with noise.

... Don't believe me?

Go outside and turn on your car.... This thread wouldn't be up if that was the case.

Sorry for taking it a bit personal...

Just I've been welding and modifying my own exhaust trying to "dial it in" trust me.. not easy.

I'm on my 7th setup. As a welder / fabricator one knows that you are constantly learning so for someone to say it's easy.... "L O L"
