Brakes Confused about these Brakes

So I purchased some Akebono ACT888 pads. I received them a couple a day ago and was going to install them this weekend. The only problem is that the box and stickers say that they are ACT888 but the pads themselves have something completely different inscribed onto them. I am wanting to know if they may have shipped the wrong pads in the box or maybe the sku# may have changed.

Here are some of the pictures of the pads themselves and the box with labels. Any help would be great so that I can get this issue resolved. Thanks!!!!

Is that just a shim that has the other number on it, or is it the actual pad?

It is the shim itself that has the number on it. Wasn't quite sure if it was the number for the pad itself or not. I tried to get more information on the AK ACT564H FF but couldn't really get anything.

Yeah, I think you actually may have a problem there. I googled that part number and came up with an ebay and an Amazon listing. Looking at the Amazon listing, they supposedly are for an older Camry. Amazon does list the ACT888 as well and they do show fitment for the G's. Who did you buy them from anyway?? If they were mailed, you should request they send a replacement set in advance while you return the ones you've got.

Good luck.

I purchased them from Auto Parts Warehouse online. Now come to look at it, a lot of people do not like this company due to the fact they have sent lots of wrong parts out. The person I spoke with said it was a warehouse error. Funny because I didn't think that the warehouse would pull brakes, box them and ship them. Thought it would just be ready to go in the box. Either way they are going to refund me and I will just shop here locally at the Pepboys and pay the extra 30$ so I don't have to deal with ordering and waiting from online stores.
