08 G35XS or 09 G37XS?

I'm looking at buying my first Infiniti next week. The links below are the three cars I'm looking at. Same options on all three cars. Anybody see why the G37 would be priced the same being a year newer and less miles?

Aside from the 08 being a much more desirable color combo, no difference. If you're fine with lakeshore/stone then g37 definitely. Unless my eyes are deceiving me there's a typo on the 37, they also state the interior as graphite (black) so most likely it's a typo lol. I'm 99% sure that's lakeshore slate.

I agree that the 35 is a better color, but I can easily live with the stone interior of the 37. I'm just really curious why the g37 is priced the same. I'll be calling the dealership in the morning for more details on the two first cars. After looking at the Carfax for the 3rd car, I'm going to eliminate that one. The last owner has owned it for just 2 months. Whether that means there were problems with the car, or they didn't make the payments, I'm not going to deal with it.

The only reason i would not get the 2009 years is the stupid scratch shield paint is such a pain to deal with if someone keys your car or something else happens. I would get the 2008 and oh the 3.7 you need to use special oil for the VVL just so you know..

For the past hour, I've been reading about the Ester engine oil. I read through all 16 pages of this thread, and it seems Pennzoil synthetic is returning good used oil reports. Since I will rarely be running the engine hard, I think the oil issue is negligible.

I agree. But for all those same reasons, wouldn't you expect the car to be priced higher than the 08???

Exactly, but the fact it is that price I'd go for it and if its a typo , Id have that ad printed out and say well according to this its that price . Also that thing couldve been sitting on their lot for a long time or maybe it was a demo r the loaner car for customers!!
Dont ask questions, Hurry up and Buy , LOL!

The only reason I would take the 09 is because of the AKEBONOS, and Slightly bigger engine! But go to myg37.com. There are so many thread about their 7AT. Lots of complains. I barely see any here about our 5AT!
