I say 4300 or 5000 for headlights and either 3k or color matched to headlights for fogs.. only way to do it the correct way.

Fail. Even 8k is pushing the rice barrier.

Get some new bulbs with a decent light out put and try again.

6k is perfect for visibility and nice white look with hint of blue.

I have 12k and the people I got the bulbs from told me it may be a problem. But I have the lights continuously on and have had no problem. Driven by and had them on in from of Georgia State Patrol and nothing.

Im on 6k love it. i'm wanting 8k. Some of the luxury cars come standard with 8k. anything above that is illegal. I love white or white-blue. plain blue or purple is retarded. You're visibility is reduced significantly

Any thing above 5200 deg K (daylight on a sunny afternoon) is not optimal for night vision. The brain is adjusted to that color temp. However, 6000-10,000 deg Kelvin does look cool, but I would never rock it as I think safety overrides cool any time. Especialy here in Deer and Hog country.

I wouldn't go over 5K!! I have seen a lot Hondas and their blue lights! And to top it off they turn them on in the day! Kinda saying! "Look at my cool lights, and fart can too"!!
