IMO those blue and purple serve no purpose..yeah some people think they look good..but most people put a "rice" take on them..myself included

yeah, it used to be an "exotic" look but now its jsut ricey... i threw some 6K's on my 2003's fog lights and luuuuv em super bright(even w/ reflectors) and they are useable. and they go well w/ the stockies, which seem to be 6k also, maybe a 5k? idk w/e the 2003 coupe has lol

I had 10k K on my Z n it looked nice at night but when i had to use my non-hid brights to see $h!t at night then i decided to bump em down to 6k's muuuuuuch happier!

 

Stock is 4100 deg Kelvin (I think).

 

i know that 07+ stock are 4300k for sure.

 

Imo I guess technically it is rice because it is "for looks but not functional" as in decreased light output...but it looks awesome. I like rice once in a while. Sticky rice FTW

For those who are concerned please do not fear as I will be de-ricing my vehicle tomorrow as well as challenging the ticket next week

 

anything higher then 6k will get you pulled over...

It's subjective, like certain wheels that some like & some don't. I like just a hint of blue, 6k seems to strike the perfect balance. Too blue and you're just waiting for the 89 Accord coupe w/ fart cannons coming at you, or maybe the Chrysler 300 w/ spinners

 

HAHAHA sticky rice, i liek that one! yeah, it does look good, the only problem is when ppl are idiots and choose looks/style over saftey.

Dont tint your headlights... no matter how sick it looks, its just stupid... @35%, i could still see, but i had to CRAWL with my brights on whenever it was foggy out. same thing w/ 6k+ K HIDs, still limiting light output... i had a buddy who blacked out his headlights on his mustang but added extra lights, looked sick, and he was still safe.

 

+1 6k's look rite. 8k work too, but my opinion 6k look the best 10k is just counter productive to what you think your tryin to do.

 

LOL@ you guys. So many "Rice" comments from a forum full of folks that has added louder exhaust, running 20" rims on a small four door sedan, slammed to the ground, yet you yell "RICER" at a dude for having 10K headlights.

BTW no one has even answered his question yet as to if any of you had that problem, except the one guy from ATL. SMH

 

There is a HUGE difference in what most here do, and "Rice".

Mine lowered 1", I have "understated" 19" wheels and tires. I have a 35% tint all round and a mild HKS exhaust (no fart can). That's not rice.

Most here go for the "God Damn that looks fast" look. Not the "how much crap can I put on it" look.

It's all good. Most people just want to criticize others for no reason. To me I like the 12k look on my car. Got the blue look with the IP car. Oh and I got tint front windshield to 50% but I can still see fine. And if you dont like it, guess what... I dont give a ****. My car My money. I dont give a damn what you think. But when someone just simply asks if anyone has had this problem yet and DID NOT ask for your opinion on if its rice or not. Everyone has to comment its "ricer".
