I could be wrong, but I've read a lot of complaints about the paint being really soft on Infiniti cars. I have the same issue with my car (rock chips from hell) and I'm in TX so my plan is to remove the bumper, go to an automotive paint shop and have them match the paint for me so I don't have to worry about the shop doing it, and have them put an extra coat of clear or two on it to keep it from chipping so much. To me using rattle can matched paint from Pep Boys or trying some Plasti Dip would look horrible.
