Is the price right?

Hello

Looking to buy a 07/08 G35 and have been searching for a month now. I would love to have an IP. I found couple of them that fits my budget(Actually one I have to stretch). Is price right on this one:

1st car:

07 - g35 -sedan - no nav - 18" rims - 53k miles -- $20.5k

http://stlouis.craigslist.org/cto/2550507496.html

2nd car:

This one has more miles on it which is what is holding me from going for it, else it has all he options and well taken care of as per the pics sent to me.

07 - g35 S - Sedan - nav and premium package - few mods - 74k miles - $17k

http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/2534889532.html

Can you please help me choosing one.

Personally I would go for the S. Im kinda cheap so spending less would be my main contributing factor. Plus the premium package has some nice features, and the mods he does have are like a free bonus. Good luck.

BTW the guy who is selling the S states that the "K&N filters added 60 horsepower"
Just letting you know this is bullshit. You might be lucky to get 15 horsepower from a good set of CAI.

$400 must be the K&N intakes but the 60hp is still total BS.

Madhu- If both cars are in good condition and accident free I would choose the S. Other differences are factory tuned suspension, VLSD, BBK, Nav. Things like these (if you want them) would cost much more than $3.5k to add to a base model.
It all depends on what you want in a car.

that gave me a good chuckle. Expect no real increase off a K&N panel filter, it just lets you wash it and reuse it lol.

The 2nd choice looks good. Miles are a little high but if he took care of the G, should be good.

Now we all know that has to be a typo, there's no way he actually believe that someone would believe the claim of 60hp gain. I'm going with typo hahaha.

For me it depends on how long your going to keep it and how much you drive. I would pick the one with less miles if your keeping it long term. But if this is just for a few years then get the S

Price on the first car seems kinda high for 50k+ miles, I think you could find a 50k "S" for about the same price.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I personally liked the S. But with that kind of miles on the car, little reluctant.I have no plans to replace infiniti in near future. So Just wondering.

He mentioned that a lady cracked his headlight and scratch on the bumper which was all fixed and repainted the bumper which might show up in the Autocheck.

Both cars have something on the report.

The S has the headlight and bumper scratch when a lady rubbed off and the other one has the hood painted when a ice branch fell on it.
