"Extra grounding" means adding more ground wires to ease the flow of electrons from components to the chassis. The battery and the engine are factory grounded but they are not sufficient. That is why grounding kits are used. One cable is not enough in my setup. The engine needs some help and the battery does too. If you do a little research on ground kit, you will see they are selling ground kit with 8-12 wires. Again, in my opinion, 2 wires are enough no more no less.

My point was you don't need 2 cables going to your transmission. The "extra" grounding you think you're getting is non-existent. And I'm familiar with grounding kits and how they work (I've had one on my car for 2+ years), and none of them have 2 cables to the tranny.

Maybe I didn't say it clearly. I asked for a grounding point on the transmission on this thread but ended up not doing it. I ordered 2 cables and installed one on the battery, the other on the engine. I did not add any wire on the transmission and will not consider doing it since I already got decent shifting.
