Pic of lowered G
It's stock height in the sense that that's the corporate mule, very likely the same vehicle they've been sending out for press reviews. It's also likely this mule was not a production US model.
I think the photos are rather misleading though. Seeing the dirt on the tires has the added effect of making it look lower than it is. Much in the same way that if you shoot a photo at the right angle and with the proper lighting, the tire blends in with the gap and the whole car just looks like a 4x4.

Here is the entire series from the photoshoot. Based on the pics it appears to be a 2007 G35 Journey with prem/nav and Sport wheels.
The wheel gap in question is far more pronounced in some images than others. For example, take a look at pic# 4 compared to #6.

@rpm&my_G35 .... you do know that your stock 2011 sedan is wayyyyy higher than the stock 07 sport sedan. My 07 S looks like a toy next to the 11 sedan. But it does look slightly lowered in the pic.
Edit - too low for it to be an X model

My wife's BMW has a low back end and the car looks perfect, and its 11 years old.
I guess its just a matter of taste, to wedge or not to wedge..
