Thumbs up Thanks

I should say I used the word defective. He did tell me that they had to call out a service tech from the manufacturer. They updated the ECU program, and changed the throttle chamber. He said everytime they changed a part on my car. They had to send it back to Manf. and found nothing was wrong with the part so they were getting billed. So they were very frustrated and could not trouble shoot the problem.

I took it to two different dealerships and 5 times my car was in the shop because it was never fixed. I just hope this problem does'nt occur again. I myself spent money and time to get this resolved. I only had 25,000 miles on the car when this happened. Why did this part needed replacing so soon? Does this car require such costly repairs so soon. To date I only have 43,000 miles. What coming next.?

Hopefully this forum will help other people who might incounter this problem. I still need to know why there calling it throttle chamber and not body?

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice and input and glad there's a forum like this to help others.

I'd say your car's issue were atypical. MANY, MANY folks have had trouble free ownership. The worst ones are just always the ones you hear about.
