Got to my car after work and what do you know, car only blows hot air. F! Looks like its going into the shop monday under warranty.

dealer said they are probably going to replace the entire compressor unit...

 

if ur under warranty, who cares?

 

I would still care. I just had a wheel bearing replaced under warranty and trying to figure out how to get to the nearest Infiniti dealer 3hrs away when the service dept is only open week days is not easy.... (full time job)

Also, I don't know about how the original poster feels but it kinda bums me out / worries me a bit when something like this goes out on a relatively new/low mileage vehicle. How is the reliability going to be as the miles continue to add up?

^ its always an inconvenience to go through the dealership for warranty issues for a 3 year old car with down time, dealer visit, wait and other potential damage that they might do as we have seen with a few users

Looks like some of the Gs are having these compressor issues quiet regularly that is not good to see, mine is running fine so far for over 4.5years and 58k+ and hope it stays that way (knock on wood)

dropped car off this morning, they are ordering a new compressor for the car. dealer also notified me that my head gasket is leaking and they want to replace that as well under warranty. They claim i should do the injector service as well. they also want $41 for new wipers.

wow

 

My dealer only charged me $14 for inserts and told me to only use inserts as long as the wiper arms are good.

 

arms are good, they say the blades are ripped
