... whew I though it was just me for noticing it. I replaced the o2 sensor and the light is still... I have driven the car for a good amount of time now and don't notice the transmission doing any unusual anymore. Y PIPE NEXT!

alright guys I finally had some time to record a video of what the car sounds like. I didn't think it would sound this good (IMO)... The timing of the video is a few seconds off but nothing major... as a matter of fact the sound and the tree's in the background make up for it lol.
I'm uploading it onto youtube and should have the link posted here soon. The video is about 2 1/2 minutes long. BTW the car was not completely at a cold start because I had to drive it to the back of the house.
IN ADDITION TO THIS ... I just ordered the megan racing Y-PIPE today...

My Infiniti dealer was nice enough to install the megan y pipe for free when I took it in to get the right front strut fixed... and boy does it sound louder and feels a lot quicker. This post is worthless without videos... will have it posted by tomorrow!
Has a little rasp but nothing annoying.
The SES light is still on and I don't know if that is going to cause any issues with the driveability of the car... When I'm in 3rd gear in D mode and upon depression of the gas pedal
the rpm will go up and down and finally ease into acceleration. Any of you guys experienced this? other then what I just described no other issues.

yes sir... The adviser at infiniti told me the same thing I read online about all these test pipes... they claim that there is a CEL fix for the 1st gen g sedans but not a 100% assurance that the light will not come on.

Thank you... with the addition of the y pipe the sound is noticeably louder, deeper, and just screams at higher rpm's ... You do here a little extra rasp with the y pipe but it's necessary IMO...

You should post another vid with the Y pipe on. I'm interested in getting the "right"" exhaust note on my car.

In the videos I just now recorded you may hear a little more rasp due to this
being recorded with an iphone 4... what can i say I easily get bored with other things when I have a G lol
UPLOADING as we speak at a quick rate. oh and yes it definitely does attract more attention I mean that's partially what we want deep down lol.
My brother has an e46 m3 and doesn't like anything other then BMW and he approved.

Yeah, I do want fkers to notice my nice exhaust note lol, but I don't want it to be annoying while I drive. I used to drive a Integra with a exhaust so I'm sure it won't be that bad at all.
