Just a guy driving around, he was in his 20s but does have a job at a small telco company.

Right fender is hosed lots of ripples. Maybe a dent in the upper left. Amazingly the brake and rear signals still work.

Wow, That really sucks. Don't let the Insurance co. bully you around. And don't sign off as those headaches may lead to something worse down the road(hope not, but you never know).

Keep us posted as I would like to see the estimated cost to repair. If they happen to total it, don't forget to grab your sway bars

Dang! Sorry to see that man. I'm glad you weren't injured any worse than that. Definitely play it carefully if you want it fixed right, that one's gonna cost some serious $$$$ and even if it is fixed right, you've lost value as a result of the accident.

Good luck to you!

Doesn't look totaled so you're lucky on that front

Why would his crappy insurance affect you? Doesn't Texas have a no fault insurance system? If so you should be able to get the full coverage from your insurer

Play it safe, and be aggressive about it. I was involved in a small fender bender once and the other insurance didn't want to do what I asked them to do. I really wanted them to REPLACE my bumper, while all they wanted to do was polish it out. MY insurance suggested (since the damage really wasn't that bad) that we meet half way and allow them to remove, repaint and leave it like new. It ended up looking great and they also payed me $150 dollars for "rental fees" since I said that was my only driver. So unless your insurance suggests other wise, PLAY THIS AGGRESSIVELY. Perhaps that headache didn't allow you to go into work? Bill them that, any doctor bills, even the aspirin you will take. Tell them your car is NOT DRIVABLE since you fear that the steering might be off, thus unsafe. Wait, all of a sudden you start to hear new rattles and things that weren't there? HAVE THEM FIX IT! Above all, though, I hope you physically feel better, the emotional parts of seeing your G busted will heal with time.

Cheers!

Crappy companies will lowball the estimate and not pay the shop and come up without excuses about only using aftermarket parts or rebuilt ones. All illegal of course so you have to report them to the insurance board or even Sue them. We'll see how it goes Monday since they are closed till then.

Yiikes, Dude, that blows. I hope the insurance process goes through smoothly. But the good thing is you and your mate suffered no injuries. Good luck.

That looks very similar to what happened to me. I had rear subframe damage, buckling of rear quarter panels. They had to pull it back and replace the rails in the back. Complete new back end except for the rear quarter panels.

PM me if you wanna see a pic.

You should start physio as soon as possible if you feel pain. My back still acts up from time to time (this happened 1.5yrs ago).
