Brakes

Anyone have a problem with brakes that squeek and dash lights that stay on (VDC and SLIP)?

Thanks! 2008 G35xs 55,000 miles

There is a new thread on this exact topic every week, search is your friend!

Those lights staying ON is because you are low on your brake fluid(DOT3/4) and since your brakes are 'squeaking' then most likely the low pad indicator clip is rubbing against the rotor to let you know the pads need to be changed which should also automatically increase the brake fluid level when the pistons are pushed back.

If you recently had a pad change then apply some brake pad lube or grease on the back of the pads and the caliper area which is contact with the pads and top off the fluid.
