R2C losing power?

Hey guys, I am sure it's been discussed a million times, but there's really not one answer. I guess it's really not a right or wrong answer, i guess i am just gonna ask again.

After installed the R2C intake, the overall low end seems to be more responsive. The car itself is much more alive. However, pass 4500-5000rpm, the car seems to be sluggish. When I full throttle it...

1) in automode/DS mode, there is a 1/2 empty gap where nothing happen, then all of a sudden the car jerked back then jump forward..
2) same time when I hold it in 2/3rd gear at 4500rpm, then floor it; i hear a deep intake sound, but the car is not going... sounds like a Honda D16 flooring it... loud intake but not going anywhere ...

I have read multiple post about this.. some say they lost power compare to stock; some say they gain mid-range; some say nothing happen just the sound effect.. well, what have you guys experiencing?

Do you guys think getting technosquare tune would be the solution to this?

thanks guys..

Search and you will find couple more dynos on myg37 (a good dyno and review from alpha ice HERE) for R2C and both got gains and mostly around 4-5k, iv been very happy with mine and notice no loss in power. tune will always help.

However you could have some other issue, put back your stock if you think its the intake to know for sure and take it form there.
