Hi everyone.

Been reading and searching thru here for about 3 hours and learned alot. Reason I am here is because I have an 07 G35X in my sights. Black/Black with 32K Miles for only $22k

I am buying it from an Acura dealer and they really want it off their lot. I just realized that it has the tech package? (It has navi, backup cam, and I quietly noticed the laser Cruise in the front bumper)

They have no idea that it is a tech package from what I can tell which benefits me

Anyways, I found a few small issues which I found answers to, but wanted any input you had

Issues:

- Rear Left Tail Has 3 LED's out - Solution Buy new left tail (About $130)

- Scratches on Driver and passenger door handles/ peeling paint - Solution get new replacements (About $30 each)

- Sunroof accordion rubber loose (Solution Follow TSB Posted somewhere here. Seems like easy fix)

- Right Power Side mirror doesn't move when trying to adjust, Left Power mirror works fine. Havent Found solution - Can anyone assist?

Other than that the car blew my mind and will hopefully be the new owner if all goes well tomorrow.

Oh, Also I know the warranty is for 4 years and 60k miles. Obviously I am way under 60K but I think I may just have missed the 4 year mark.

Any idea if infiniti is good with Good Will Work? (Just out of the 4 year?) I would love to get some of the above fixed under warranty.

over 4yrs and ur sol... but.. depends when it was put in service.. maybe ur still okay.. have em throw in an extended warranty..!!

according to carfax it was first titled on 12/2006, so i'm guessing the warranty ended on 12/2010? Would that be right?

I'm purchasing from an Acura dealer so obviously they wouldn't offer an extended Infiniti warranty, but could I go to infiniti afterward and get one?

u could get an extended warranty from any dealer.. work with em..

but yea.. warranty is over for now..

^^ as was mentioned, you can get an extended warranty from any dealer, but I'd recommend talking to Infiniti dealerships in particular (shop around between them, even online) for their Infiniti Elite Extended warranty plan. Search a bit here and you'll find there are numerous variations of terms and prices available.

I have to say that I'm surprised that two electrical items are in need of repair though. I'm at better than twice that mileage on my '07 and I've had no electrical issues.

 

Yes it does bother me a bit that it has both of those issues, but from what I can see I'm getting a bargain at the price they are going to sell it to me. I can easily fix the issues myself since im pretty handy and love working on cars.
