2 Holes/sensors above steering wheel? (Mystery Continues)

Can anyone help identify these holes? They appear to have some sort of sensors in them but I can't figure it out.

I've searched and looked thru my manual but still can't figure it out?

Don't mind all the dust, I put the dog in the car for the first time today lol

Dude, I have never ever seen or heard of Infiniti putting/ creating
Holes in that location. So I must assume that that is not factory nor it has any function what so ever. I'm guessing it was implemented by the previouse owner. Assuming there was one.

That's what i'm trying to figure out.

I just purchased the car the other day and noticed these holes. They seem to have a red center like if they were sensors.

Wonder if the previous owner had some gauges mounted here?

looks like some leds. thats a common location for installers to put leds there for concealed radar systems like the caliber K40. maybe the previous owner had the radar removed before selling/trading in the car. You may also notice some holes or glue residue somewhere on the front bumper from where the radar was attached (maybe)

Here is a closer look at one of the two Lights/sensors?

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Also I have this other LED clear looking thing to the left of the wheel

I'm guessing this is something aftermarket as well. Whatever it is was a clean install. I am guessing this clear LED is for an aftermarket Alarm, but from what i can tell everything on the car is stock including the Alarm.

May have to eventually pull stuff apart when I have some free time.

Nope, no holes or glue that I can see.

If they are LED's they are hard to see if they light up as they are counter sunk.

Thanks

The one that you showed to the left in the aluminum is the alarm led light. It blinks red when alarm is engaged.

Well its possible they removed the bumper to install the parts it just depends on the amount of professionalism behind the shops work. But dont under estimate the leds in my dads Porsche the leds are under a metal grill and the light can be seen well in daylight and at night time its so bright that when the radar was going off the leds would fill the driver area making them visible from outside the car and the cop saw those lights

I agree, It has to be a radar setup.

I have seen these before. They are cameras installed by the aliens to watch you. The white one is a "kill beam", so keep that one covered. If you wear an aluminum foil hat and keep a thin sheet of foil under your shirt, I think you'll be okay.

Good luck!!!

Mike

Could have been a bait car. Or some relgious person had bobble head Jesus and Mary

JK, I would lean towards aftermarket alarm or radar device. you could probably use a vinyl seat type repair kit.

that is really weird, my guess is radar because even though it is countersunk, it would still light up the inner roof part of the gauges
