I wouldn't compromise on RWD or manual transmission so that limits my choices a lot. I'd look for a BMW 328/330, maybe a 5 series. I'm getting old enough that I'd give up the power to keep the luxury and refinement. $20K is a lot of money, and you can find a good used V36 G35 under that limit without too much trouble, and I personally think it's one of the best car values you can buy for that price.

If ya gotta do it, then this is the only way I could live with downgrading...
If you have to downgrade, I would suggest buying the biggest POS, disposable car you can find. Drive it for 6 months to a year and then get something a little lowert than a G. That way, at least you will be able to live with it.

Trying to hold out until the spring. But i have been looking around. Another 3 months of payments and savings and i should be good.
Shaking on highway won't stop..trans is acting very very strange. I just hope it lasts until i trade it in
