Bummed!

Just got my RF wheel bearing replaced at 40k.. now 2.5k miles later my LF is going out as well. This wouldn't be such a bad thing if I didn't live and work 3 hours from the nearest Infiniti dealer. Makes it tough to get warranty work done when their shop is only open M-F.

Also adding to my bummed-ness... my brakes are shot and rotors warped. Dealer says this is common on G's but is not covered under warranty. I am going to argue with them and see where it gets me.

On another note... its almost Nov 8th. Who is getting in on some MW3 action??

The rotors are covered under the warranty and they should replace the pad's for you too...

Yeah I agree... I'll reference the TSB and see if they can muster up a counter-argument to that.

update us on this... The only thing that ticks me off is when some dealers don't know **** and just blurt out something just to get rid of you. I fortunately got this taken care of for the front of my car but the back was not addressed because they did not think the issue traced back to the rear. As I re-evaluate the situation they should have taken care of the back too for possible future issues with the rotors. Keep that in mind. Unfortunately going to a dealership is like going to a physicians office (you will always need a second opinion). Hope this issue is resolved for you sir.

That certainly is a bummer...

If the dealer doesn't budge try calling Infiniti customer relations and filing a complaint... mentioning this to the dealer may even push them to do there job...

those are all covered because i "supposedly" had mine done, but it took 3 times of going back to get mine done. Don't bank on customer relations, the deal called the relations when they wrecked my tranny, told them it was driven hard recently in the last week by me, however i haven't had my car for almost a month lol. So they did nothing about it and it only hass 1000 miles outta warrenty, you can see that debacle in my thread. Bummer its 3 hours away though thats rough hope it all works out

Talk about MW3 on the off topic! I won't get it unless they buy it for me! I hardly touch my PS3!

My RF wheel bearing was replaced under warranty.. Bumper to bumper I assume. I don't think they should be going out after 40k miles.
