07 G35S Power loss, rpm dip and ride quality

For the past few days I have noticed some RPM dips when driving in almost every gear, it seems like the engine just pauses for a second and keeps going. Ive also noticed that the ride quality got bad at the same time, it feels like the car is shaking or lightly vibrating the whole time im driving.

I searched the forums and found some similar things but nothing quite like this.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Anyone know whats wrong?

I put a bottle of lucas in the gas tank incase my last fill up was bad gas.

Is it giving you any codes? Is the RMP jumping? what do you mean by dip? Maybe you need to clean the throttle body.Search that.

passenger seats in these cars will vibrate if no one is sitting in it no matter what. Know many people including myself where the passenger seats vibrates a lot when no one is sitting in it. Nissans do the same as well

Poor ride quality and low RPM..my guess would be trans? How many miles on car?

isn't TCM part of drivetrain warranty? seems like should still be under that. unfortunately dealers usually suck at complex troubleshooting. Most are only good for replacing major parts until they figure it out - which can work, as long as you aren't footing the bill. If you have to pay out of pocket than I would go to a different shop.

When is does this, are you at WOT? I think there was a firmware bug relating to hesitation at WOT I read somewhere here.

This man speaks the truth. The dealer took 5 weeks to figure out i needed a new engine. Dealers are pretty useless. Like the above poster said. If you have to pay...go somewhere else to have it looked at

interesting? i didn't remember them doing that before i put the new wheels in
and my maxima before this car didn't do it

as far as the RPM thing i am curious about that also
it happens to me when i am cruising at low speeds like the transmission doesn't know what gear to be in
it will hover around 3k for a second or two and then finally decide to shift causing me not to know what to do with the accelerator and me driving all jumpy
it also seems like the manualmatic has decided to start delaying its shifts
i don't think i am imagining these things

I've been noticing the same problem: upon start up and at idle. On start up, my rpms will drop below 1 and sound/feel like it's going to die before returning to normal. On idle, it does same thing if I rev my engine. I have an 08 6MT.

Someone just posted a thread about some service bulletin being released recently on this issue:

You might also try cleaning the throttle bodies if you are out of warranty, there is a DIY on here for it.
