Wah! Rear-ended!
oh many sorry to hear that, Doesn't look too bad, hard to tell from the lighting whether there is fender damage. Still don't have my car back from getting rear ended at the end of sept!
Definitely. Not to mention the obvious severe permanent physical and psychiatric injuries the OP must have sustained as a result of the negligence of the other driver. I recommend an examination with Dr. Nick Riviera.

The story: I was sitting about 10-15 cars back of a red light at rush hour in the left lane waiting for it to turn green. I heard crazy screeching and looked in my rearview mirror just in time to see a guy swerving between the right lane and my lane and back. I remember thinking new cars are a magnet for this kinda thing. lol Then I felt the impact and was pleasantly surprised the airbags didn't deploy which told me the impact was not too too bad. As I drove over to the side of the road, the car was making a terrible grinding noise.
Since it was dark, I couldn't see all the damage, but what I can say is the tire was flattened, the back bumper is shot, the rear right taillight is damaged, the right rear side panel is shot as well. Lots of bits of plastic and hinges were visible.
His car (an Acura RSX) looked far worse to my eye than mine. No more sideview mirror and the whole left side of his car showed damage. His insurance has already told me they accepted liability.
What does it mean to go after them for depreciation?
