I am looking for some upgraded fog light bulbs to put in. I will be painting the headlights soon so I might as well put the bulbs in that I want.

These are the bulbs that I found. I would like to get the amber one (for performance) if it will be any better than stock. Does any body have any experience with upgrading the bulbs on these models.

 

Fog? You mean clearance. I've upgraded mine but from v-led.com.

 

I got LED bulbs too from V-LEDs!! Downgrade on light output but happy because they are only for authetics purposes!

 

Why are LED's an "upgrade" in this application? Get some yellow halogen bulbs and call it a day.

 

I replaced my fog lights at my dealership on my O8. I installed Slyvinna White Light bulbs and they still come up like half and half white and yellow hue but not enough light to actually be used in a fog enviroment. I dont think when they put the fog lights in they were made to be used practially because my Xenon Lighting is so much brighter.

If I can't get any extra light out of any other bulbs then I will go with WHITE, as it will match my other lights better.

 

I installed my Hoen white fogs 2 years ago, paired them with a KP DRL module and they are still going strong. Search threads for Hoen white fog lights, look great on our cars. LEDs on the other hand don't tend to last as long (the LEDs for my parking lights tend to burn out several times a year no matter what brand/bulb I buy).
