Just a light rub down w/ steel wool, a spray w/ degreaser & a good rinse. Then you just shoot the calipers after taping off what you don't want painted and drive it hard w/ a lot of braking to bake in the paint. I ventilated the spray away from the car so no overspray issues. Haven't taken any pics of just the calipers but here's a couple pics of the front brakes for reference.

Have any close ups? Would love to see them a bit closer even if the wheels are on. Think I may go this route, nice looking and subtle.

Paint them black with white stickers and a couple layers of clear and you will be set.

^ I didn't really wanna bring it up but I striped one of the lug nuts on the first wheel. Didn't even get the first wheel off, I had everything laid out and ready to work . I twisted some of the metal on one of the lugs and now can't even fit the 21mm over it. I will probably go to discount tire and have them pull it off for me. Then get some new black ones. I was using a 12 point socket, that was probably my problem, as well as not paying attention!!

Here you go, and the cool thing is you can select the exact diameter you need, just don't press them on too hard when you apply them as it'll leave bubbles underneath. Luckily the shop sent another set

You could email the guy and ask if 33mm is possible, maybe you'd be in luck.
