Serpentine belt and...?

My car on cold (upstate new york) start ups when i turn it on it squeelz and also there is a moderate squeeling when the car is running... My car has 64k on it.

Looked up on DIY thread for replacing the belt and went and ordered a belt from Autzone same as the guy that made the thread. Very helpful as usual.

The belt is coming in on Monday so going to replace it on Tuesday most likely.

Now my question is while im doing the belt should just go an replace the spark plugs as well, and if so which ones should i look for. I mean i dont notice any power loss or anything like that but i think Infiniti recommends at 60k.

So far i bleed-ed my brakes power steering changed my rear deferential oil, engine oil is done every 5k miles with castrol edge full synthetic. Changed my air Filters with K N also did the poor mans intake.

So for my reg 60k maintenance all is left i belive is belt, spark plugs, and in cabin filter.

As always most of this stuff i coudent do without help from the members of this community thx again in advance.

Your spark plugs DO NOT need changing at 60K.

I think it's more like 100k or even 120 maybe. If you want to do something, I recommend flushing/replacing your coolant, tranny, and brake fluids instead. I know you mentioned bleeding your brakes, but the fluid is hygroscopic and needs outright replacement as well.

Per the service manual at 60k it should be the items you have listed (less plugs) plus the coolant. Service manual has the spark plugs being replaced at 105k. This would be a good time to get some SAMCO hoses if you know what I mean =]

If you mean that you checked it for its specific gravity reading and it showed ok, that's all well and good, but it doesn't address the decay in the anti-corrosive properties of the coolant. It will still cool your engine, but it won't prevent corrosion withing the cooling system as well.

Transfer case needs to be replaced as well, I believe. Coolant and tranny flush as others have stated.

****, I didn't even think about those colored coolant hoses. I just replaced a stock one and should have upgraded!!
