Jack protection

Saw this posted a while back, but my search abilities are subpar.

Can somebody assist? I saw a hockey puck looking thing that would prevent damage to your car when using a jack.

I've already mangled mine and would like to prevent further damage.

Don't know if that's good enough since i don't know about those pucks. My uncle uses Wood that he puts in between to jack the car up and when i am there i use that method too.

This.

However, sometimes I don't use anything, just careful placement of the jack. I have yet to really mess mine up. Other than that I just use wood. I have been tempted to buy or make ones out of hockey pucks but haven't really felt the need.

What is this hockey puck made out of? The other reason i use wood is my side skirts are little lower so when i jack it up the skirt would be pushed up as well. So the wood just give me that extra room.

You can also just make one from a little round piece of plywood or hockey pucks are popular too.

And just in case you want to refresh your searching "skills" . . . http://bit.ly/yTurSo

Exactly, that's what I'm talking about. You, and 1/2 of the rest of the state probably too. It's just that hockey is REALLY big in so many other states/areas
