What size wheel spacers?
What size wheel spacers?
Thinking about putting some wheel spacers on to make my rims "pop" a little more, I don't want them sticking out and looking stupid. Which ones should I select? I know most go front smaller, back bigger is this correct? Will the OEM 19 g37 rims rub? Which is the best brand for the price?
Does this look right? Looking at the ones from : http://www.motorsport-tech.com/4DCGI/a_diameter.html

btw, Motorsports-Tech allows you to select differences in sizing between front and rear to your exact custom specs, not just 5 or 10mm increments.

No, but off the top of my head, it bothers me that they don't list any hubcentric measurements for their fitment to your hub, they don't replicate any hub lip for aligning your wheels to them, they are no-names of unknown origin and quality, and my life is worth more to me that saving a few bucks. Other than that, who knows . . . maybe they're just fine.

The best way to determine the right spacer for your needs is to measure the distance you have between the wheel and the fender/quarter panels.

I think if you're planning on getting something pretty large though, you should get the bolt on type spacer, rather than get longer studs. If you torque the nuts down properly they should not come loose.

I have the H&R Trak+ and think they are great spacers--much better than generic Ebay spacers or even Ichiba V2 spacers. Got my set from FRSport.com. The 19" G37 offset is more aggressive than the 18" sport rims to which people are running 15-25mm spacers (stock to dropped suspensions). Unless someone with 19" G37 rims chimes in, your best bet is to mount the rims and see what thickness spacer you should get.

Best way to accurately determine the right spacer size. No guessing games there!
You seem to know your spacers, they kind of scare me too. In your opinion what type is safest (see post #5 in this thread), the ones that just use longer studs (No, NEVER, or at least never for spacers over 5mm) or the kind that you use stock studs and then the spacer has new studs for the wheels (so 10 studs per wheel) (Yes, that kind. See the links in the other post). Seems like the longer studs would be better (although longer studs may be weaker) ( Nope, they are NOT better, since their use with spacers dramatically increase radial sheer forces by way of an added slip plane, even though the longer replacements are often a higher quality lug. ie. ARP's) since you could easily check the tightness of the wheel rather than having 5 concealed bolts underneath that may be getting loose. What do you think?? (I think properly installed high quality bolt-on adapter type spacers have pretty much the same reliability with staying torqued as your wheels do when bolted directly to your hub. How often have you actually had your lugnuts come loose on your wheels; honestly . . . I've never had it happen. BUT, even with that being said, I still wouldn't run spacers, I just as soon get wheels that fit properly.)
I don't plan to drop it, would 20mm all around look good?
I'm looking at making them custom since they don't show them for infiniti and it's asking for the "center bore" size, is that the "hub diameter'?
Pulled this from motorsports website for my car.

The hub of your car has a diameter of 66.1mm. To make them wheel centric you need to get the bore of the wheels (diameter of the opening that rests on the hub). If you're using stock wheels it should be 66.1mm.

Better yet though, I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer and getting their input; no sense risking an error on a custom built part.
