Door handle Trim

Does anyone have a link for instructions of how to take off the door handle trim? i wanna replace my ugly scratched up ones And my car isn't under warranty anymore so i doubt the dealership would do it without paying a ridiculous price.

if ur talking about the door pulls trim piece then all u need to do is to stick a plastic knife covered with thin cloth under the trim piece and carefully pry it off.

It really easy. Just get a plastic bone and pry everything off evenly. No need to take the poor panel off. Thats too much work. What are you going to do to it? What i did was sanded off all that rubber crap, and color matched it to the car. Came out very sexy.

Ehhh . .. Don't be too hard on the PO, the paint on them is defective and even the lightest of use will cause that kind of appearance. I don't know what that link charges for them, but I think these guys had a pretty good price too.

That is a good price, but would these have the same rubberized paint finish that will eventually flake off again, or are these the newer finish (I guess 2009+)?

I can't say for sure because I have not ordered one, but they are the exact same part number shown on my invoice from when the dealership replaced mine. I just googled that part number and these came up. I don't know if there is a Nissan that shares the same piece or if they can just access Infiniti parts. Either way, it's Nissan prices instead on Infiniti prices, It might not hurt to call and ask them if they're for the later models year just to be sure.

Just so you can see what i did. I even took off the trim and color matched it to the car. I don't have any pix of the back door but i did all 4 and also center console. Had this for about 2 years now and paint still good.
