Passenger seat rattle

The passenger seat keeps making weird noise, not much on bumpy roads but on highways, and this has been a recurring problem ever since I purchased the car. The first time I brought it in, they removed the seat and checked for any loose parts, reassembled, tightened everything, and the rattle went away. Five months later, it returned, the process repeated, and went away. This is the third time it has happened, brought it in to dealership, and now they are telling me that it's due to worn out seat track (obviously from the seat moving back/forth), and it would cost fairly large amount of money to replace this. Wouldn't you think it's their fault for not catching it the first or second time, and allowing the issue to progress until it requires a replacement?

Still waiting on the quote, probably will just sell the car if it's too expensive.

Why would you sell the car because the seat track needs replacing, would you do the same if she needed brakes?

i was alrdy considering selling the car and replacing with G37 sedan, but was gonna wait till end of year. However, if the dealership will bs their way out of taking responsibility of missing the issue, and unfortunately theres only one in Hawaii, i rather purchase from a dealer that will give quality service. I love my car, but dont want to pay for the dealer's mistakes..... and the rattle is just so damn loud...
