To be honest though, I gotta say, a BMW without a warranty can be a mixed blessing. I hope you're getting a good one.
Especially with twins...the 335i is a great car but not something I'd want to DD

Probably not, but if he had he would know how much fun they are to drive. Nothing beats a 6MT Berger tuned e90!

The only thing that I liked about the 335 was the handling other then that very similar performance. The only thing that concerns me about the BM is the TT's. Overall your paying more for the name.

Yep. That'd be my guess too.

Been there, done that. Never cared for all the status hype, so looking back, I enjoyed driving them, but I hated owning them. I for sure wouldn't recommend one out of warranty. That being said, IF the OP is getting it for a steal, maybe the savings will average things out for him. I hope so anyway.

I loved my 335, and hated to sell it but the growing family necessitated it.

Overall, price aside, far better car than the G (not that I don't love the G either)

That's a steal for an 08 335 tho!
Some had problems, so did not. BMW, under pressure from litigation, extended the HPFP warranty to 100K miles.

And what happens when your over 100k... Most cars are usually good below that, but i'll take a G at 200k over a 335 lol.

Not to bash BMW

I merely suggest you go on youtube and search "335i HPFP"

You will find tons of 2008 335i's in this condition

This guy only has 24k miles

for that price it's hard to pass up, however I have heard similiar things from people who owned Bimmers and had some issues, costly issues at that.

Nope but drove a older M3 and a 04 7 series. Liked those both more than a G35..what model did you own?

a 335 will handle better than our cars stock for stock

Driving and owning are two very different things haha. Steve, I know you hate your G and love trolling the forum hating on it, but the fact is, most of us havent had any issues with our cars and continue to drive them over 100k. It is a Nissan motor. Gotta run forever.

Yea, they do handle better. I'v driven several 3 series. But I drive to work, and school. Its my DD. I do not need an expensive to maintain vehicle to putt back and forth to the grocery.
