So I got my new passenger side switch bezel and replaced my old one. Extremely easy fix.

There's a small gap in the corner where you stick in a small screwdriver to pry it open. Just pulled it out of the clips.

The first screw driver I used was to thin and I actually snapped it

Then I just had to pull off the module for the lock switch and window button. You have to push it down a little bit, then pry the clips a little bit, and then pull it out of the clip. There are 4 clips attaching it and I did each one individually.

Reattach the module to the new switch bezel and just put it back in place. The clips will connect pretty easily but you may want to apply pressure starting from one end to the other to make sure they're all in place.

After:

Here's the note they sent with it. Return policy and restocking fee included.

Thanks guys for the help in finding this part. I hope this can help others in the future.

BTW, if anyone wants the old part to sand down and paint, $15 plus shipping and it's yours. I'm putting it in the packaging in which the new one came.

I don't get it . . .What was the point of showing this letter of their return policy? Were you planning on sending the old one back or something?

(or were you just trying to show that they're a legit vendor?)

I just posted it because people who are new to ordering parts for their G (such as myself) want to know the return/exchange policies in case they order the wrong part or something. Stuff happens. Also there's contact information on there for inquiries.

Anyways, the LED's I ordered off ebay last week just freakin shipped today. Whatever, can't wait to get them though. The seller did send a message asking not to leave negative feedback in case it arrives late. I dunno. They said they'd refund part or all of it depending on how late they come in though. I guess that's cool with me.

I got my LEDS from the guy on Ebay as well and took like 8 days to get here. Was really happy with the quality and make sure you use a cloth or towel on tip of screw driver so you dont scratch the area around the light, took about 20 minutes, i also ordered the LED parking lights but havent installed them yet

I was actually thinking about going with some royal/purple colored parking lights that matched the lights around the ***** on the inside. I really don't care what the cops say. I've had my front plate (required in tx) removed for the past 2 years. I've gotten warnings about it and I just tell them the same BS everytime, "One of the screws fell out and it was just dangling there so I took it completely off to be safe. Getting the new screw asap." I keep the plate in the trunk as well just in case. Dumb cops. FTP.

This is not the law in Texas exactly. It must be displayed but location is not specified.

State law requires that you display two (2) license plates, one to the front and one to the rear. Placement or mounting of license plates is not defined

From TDOT website

Received my LED lights today. Well, 8 of the 11. Sent the ebay seller a message about it and hopefully they can get me the remaining lights asap. It'll probably take another 2 weeks though. Users like Goalomeri seem to have had better luck than me with this seller so I'll hold off on any negative feedback for now and just call it a fluke.

Sorry to hear that, yea it might have been that you got a bad shipment and i wouldnt blame seller. Try taking out the bulbs that dont work and flip them and put them back in, sometimes they work the other way (happened to 4 of the bulbs i had, just had to flip it and reinstall)
