don't buy it new. I got my s sway for ~$35 shipped from eBay. Best mod I've ever done, and a pretty straightforward DIY.

Most people buying brand new AWD Infinti's are older people in their 40's and up looking for a nice commuter car. Most prob don't drive it near as aggressive as many of us do.
So the sway par setup promotes understeer which people have an easier time to control. Putting a larger rear sway bar will tip the balance to oversteer, which can be tricky if you are not used to the feeling of it.
I do notice my '06 understeers a lot. I wonder if a RWD '06 bar would give the same result.

i havent had time or patience to put a switch in, but theres a whole thread on this somewhere... theres a cover in the roof of the passenger footwell right below the glovebox...pop that cover off, and somewhere there on the right middle area there is a plug/harness with about 8 wires coming out of it...unplug that while the car is OFF and the yellow AWD light should be on the dash when you start up. this means you have disengaged the front solenoid clutch, i.e. RWD MODE
I didn't know you could do this either...any idea if it causes any damage to any of the AWD components?
