I was cleaning my car 07 tech/journey package, around 11am this morning. My routine was pretty much the same as how I always clean my Old car 03 coupe. I love listening to music while cleaning my car, so as of 12;15PM right when I'm almost done I noticed my music shut off. Then try to turn the radio off and on but no luck even starting the car it won't start. Right then I knew it was my Battery so I called AAA to jump me. The guy is pretty nice and gave me a lecture as If I don't know what I'm doing . He explained that oh my battery was OEM so its been 4 years and need a new one etc etc. . But the lesson I learned and like to share it with you guys that I guess Newer car that are equip with Push to start, Nav etc etc eats more battery life than pretty much older cars. (my old 03 coupe battery lasted for long time I didn't even change the battery of that since I bought it. I had it for 6 years) I Guess from now on No more music while cleaning my car.

 

You're lucky the battery even lasted 4 years.

 

Stock Battery here E-Ticket! 08. I don't trust my battery though it had died on me like 2 or 3 times. I never run anything when the car is off! I am cheap and I am planning on keeping until it start leaking fluids!! lol

do they put new batteries in CPO's? i would assume.

I got less than 2. Again, you guys are lucky as the stock battery is crap, and generally one of the cheapest they (manufacturers) can install.

You can have music on, but not with the engine off.

nah its a waste of gas.. $4.55 for 91 octane damn hurt..hahaha
