I have HID Fogs on my ride, and it was pretty straightforward, though I didn't have to ground anything. One thing I did temporarily before securing the ballasts with double-sided tape was (since I no longer have the stock airboxes and have Stillen Gen 3s) mount the ballasts via the provided metal hangers to the mounting location of the airboxes.

How do these work with DRL's? Do you end up with uber bright fogs?

I'd be interested in hear/seeing a bit more about HID fogs, been thinking about doing the same thing.
