Pulling the trigger on a G35x

Hey everyone , im finally pulling the trigger on a 07 G35x

I got 2 choices right now , basically the same mileage/condition/price but one is black the other Charcoal grey.

Any advice ? :]
Im planning on Dropping it on Eibach Lowering Springs and adding 19" rims
I live in Montreal Canada aka Pot Holes Crazy town.

Is the combination of 19" rims and Lowering springs a bad idea ?

And im having a hard time finding the right rims if i go with the Charcoal grey one...
I would go all black , but can anyone point in the right direction?

oh and before on doing anything , if done some research but just to be sure ..What are the things/problems i should be on the lookout before buying this car ?

Thanks in advance ,

Hey man, welcome to the board and congrats on your soon-to-be purchase. There is a TON of info on this site, especially if you are willing to use the search function (upper part of the screen) and spend some time looking; honestly, you'll probably find answers to all of the questions you asked using that search.

But quickly, just know that you probably don't want to lower your X too much, if at all, with bad roads and/or snowy conditions, unless you have another vehicle you can drive in bad conditions (but then why get the AWD version of the car...). What you'll find is that most, if not all, lowering kits, will drop the car more than an inch all the way around; that might not sound like too much, but go ahead and look at the ground clearance directly under the engine area of your car.....dropping it at all should probably scare you! (only a few inches of clearance in the first place). There are ways, however, to subtly drop the X's which are both cheap and relatively easy.....if you'd like to know more about it, search (either Google or even the 'search' function on this site) something along the lines of, "370Z springs on G35x" and you'll find a ton of info. I actually have 19's on my car now too and love the way it looks with this setup.

Anyways, congrats again and if you are looking for opinions on the color, I'll give mine :-). Go with the charcoal gray; much more unique color than plain old black!
