If my steering wheel vibrates when braking from high speeds, more than likely the rotors are warped and the pads are fine, correct? I had the TSB done for the brakes where they shaved the front rotors and replaced the front pads, last summer. Now its starting to shake again....

 

It could also be from uneven pad deposit on the rotors.

 

Some suggested reading. Pay particular attention to references to cementite, as its formation usually signals a death spiral of the rotors.

I just got my car back today from dealer after they machined the rotors a second time. Had it in at 11k miles and had tsb done, back in at 32k miles for the same vibration/judder. Only way to solve it is to go with better rotors and pads that won't leave deposits.

 

+1. The rotors themselves usually don't warp, they're still the same shape, but the pads are soft and leave deposits on the rotors, creating an uneven surface, hence the vibrations when braking.
