There is enough space behind the entire vent (as far as I can tell) to put any sort of panel mount fixture in. There is for sure less on the passenger side where the windshield reservoir is but there is still maybe 2" on that side.

I did the headlight shrouds myself, yes.
do you have the dimensions of the opening/vent? Just looking to see what the max length for a LED bar is and my car is at the dealer

It is hard to tell exactly because of the curves but you have roughly 6.5 x 2.5" of room to play with.

Here's a pic for you with the journey bumper which I have on right now:

thanks, i am liking this more and more. Any pics of the actual wiring? Where did you mount the auto on/off relay? is it really as simple as running the wires through to the battery? I am a noob when it comes to electrical.

I don't have any pics of the wiring, but it really is that easy. There is a big terminal to the (+) of the battery where a bunch of wires connect. Attach the red to that and the the black to the negative terminal, and then string it down the passenger side. There is enough length to get it down in the vicinity of behind the bumper but the LEDs should have some leads that are roughly 6" long to reach or you may need to add extension wires. The wiring kit is low power (wires are super small) so you cannot run anything but LED off of it.

Not a fan of DRLs in the bumper/fog area.

I have the fogs as DRLs, ebay 9006 120 led bulb, removed the cap/cover for the bulb. Crappy iPhone pics.
