Not very happy and feeling a little deflated after having a little fun with a Mazdaspeed 3. Thought my car was running super strong with the uprev tune but i could not shake the mazdaspeed 3. stuck on me quite a ways. I am very disappointed.

Speed3's and the new Turbo Cobalt SS's are stupid quick for what they are.
But just remember. You'll always win a 0-Classy race.

MS3 are quick on their feet. If you simply go for quickness, definitely sell your X and go for something else.
But your X is not just about being quick.
The X have AWD for snow, you have the comfort of a luxury car, the prestige of a luxury brand, service experience, etc.
the ownership experience is the sum of all those, its not just about how fast you go. if fast is what you want, then you shouldn't be spending money on any luxury and features that associate with the X.
And yeah, I am getting old. so i don't need to be the fastest kid around the block anymore ...

I agree the speed of our cars can be slightly disapointing. However this is the fastest car I have ever owned and never lost a race. lol I only race people I believe will be a good race though. Considering we have one of the fastest cars in our class. Reliable as hell. Plus the luxurious interior. I get compliments all the time on my car. How many compliments do you think that mazda gets?

Sorry if I came off a bit rough lol.
But yes your car is superior... You got AWD + nice luxury and a comfy ride.
MS3 is a econo box with a LSD and a turbo...
Not hating on the MS3 either Its a quick and fun car!

Dont worry I feel the same way when I dont shake chipped 1.8T's as quick as I thought, and its even worse cause I really cant stand VW drivers...probably worse than honda

Lol, dont feel bad, I had a beat up late 90"s jetta on my *** who I couldn't shake a few weeks back. I actually gave him a thumbs up. He was turbo'd and a complete sleeper. I can respect that.
On the other hand, there was once a BMW 530i or 535i (Maybe 2004-05) who tried keeping up but couldn't hang.
It all depends.
