MIL sensor, hand held tunner ??? help

Hey everyone is been a while since i posted. hope everyone had a good 4th of july. Right now that status of my G35x is megan Resonated TP's, Stillen Gen 2 exhaust, Stillen CAI. I keep getting my Check engine light for my tp's. (Note to anyone buying megan tp's DO NOT USE THEIR GASKETS! I changed mine out after a month and they were totally fried. The oem ones work so much better) Should i go the route of makin a 02 sensor simulator, I can make one, just not sure how that would hurt my engine with it running too lean with the intakes. I really don't wanna dish out the money for Uprev tune nor do I have the time, also unaware of any decent tunners in the area of South Jersey. I am trying to find any hand held quick tunners to get the ecu aclimated with the upgrades. I am so confused with the COBB because either they don't support our engine and/or its just for stock cars. Is there any other hand held tunners that are out that will support mods and hopefully take out the check engine light, and really unleash that extra HP and Tourque? please let me know guys

Uprev's the only thing out there man. You don't need to fork out all that dough for a dyno tune tho, jut the reflash is good enough

Yeah you can download the software and install it for free, but need the special uprev cable to access it or flash the Osiris license and tune into your ecu.

The difference between the versions is determined by the cable, but the Osiris licenses are all identical

noooo its a very special cable that only uprev makes. All the osiris licenses are the same, the software is different between the tuner version (lets you adjust the tune yourself) and the standard version (just lets you flash the tune onto your ecu). All the software is free on their website, but you cannot access it without the uprev cable plugged into your computer.

If you buy Osiris standard from uprev for full price ($520 shipped) they will make you a tune, and update it 3 times over email (called etunes). If you buy it used or from someone else or buy the tuner version Uprev will not make you free tunes, you have to get them from whoever sold it to you.

Advantage of going to a shop and getting flashed/tuned is that its over and done, you don't need to worry about it.

Advantage of not going to a shop is that you get the cable and thus much better value for your money, you can resell it used, etc.

I personally recommend the tuner version since it gives you full access, even if you never plan on learning to tune its nice to be able to make minor changes without getting charged again or wait on people to email you back.

well that depends. Do you want a full dyno tune? which version do you want? There are several options and some are better choices for some people than others lol
