matte black 3m

i just finished the aluminum trim pieces in the doors. i'm going to probably do the front trim pieces tomorrow and i'm not yet sure about the console. might be too much of a chore. i used the matte black 3m 1080

Looks good. I think the carbon fiber look would have been better than matte black just to avoid finger print marks but that still looks good.

i agree but it's part of the door that shouldn't receive that many touches and I just don't like the CF look. any idea about how it could be cleaned if it does start getting print marks?

Darn, didn't see this thread till just now... Oliverbu, I live in Pittsburgh and wrapped it all up with carbon fiber 3m 1080 and would be willing to help if you come across anything you need help with... I'm sure you've found out that it's pretty easy to work with though?

Thank speedk1ng!

I used the standard black di-noc, not the Gloss Black. I wanted more of a dry carbon fiber look. It came out just as I wanted. I'm really happy with it and get compliments on it constantly.
