Where to buy the OEM Infiniti red "S" emblem?
If your not a real S then why do it? Not trying to hate on ya man but C'mon really? like many people said if your not really driving an S than why do it? you will run into a group of infiniti peeps and they will get on you for it- i mean i would have no choice if i saw u
Yeah I felt the same way. I went ahead and added the S to my Journey but then thought i dont want to promote being an S when it is not one. I went ahead and added a LSD, Sport paddle shifters, front strut bar but it is not a true S so one day i just went ahead and removed the S.
Just out of curiosity, how much did just that set you back?. Did you install it yourself, or have a shop do it?
It was around $350 piece and it went around $500 with the install. Changed transmission fluid check the whole transmission added transmission cooler. I have lots nicer shifts and power is good and spread evenly through the power band.
I have a 2005 6MT sport coupe. However the G35 sport coupes didn't come with a S signifying they are indeed a "sport".
I was thinking about getting the G35S emblem for mine. It is a Sport. It isn't a lie.
I think it'd be just fine. I was searching for others that did the same thing but cannot find anything. Which is weird because I would think it would have been brought up plenty before.
the only threads I can find is people with non-sports wanting to add a "S" .....

I say do whatever makes you (the owner) happy.
If Infiniti USA says there is no "G35S" coupe, but you insisted on that's what you have. then make it so.
But seriously, I would just put "G35 GTR Spec-V NISMO Neuberger Ring edition" on the car because that's just better than an "S" for sports ...

ummm my dealership is aware my g35 is a Sport.
Now if you are saying a bozo that knows nothing about these cars saw I didn't have a
"S" on my emblem and said it isn't. Then that means nothing.
it's like a rsx type-s ... When you add the A-Spec package they slap a A-Spec emblem on the back under the type-s emblem.
These coupes that had the Sport package should have also gotten a S slapped on the end of the G35 emblem. But that didn't happen.
but they're still acknowledged as a Sport.
Adding a S to the emblem doesn't make it a lie, or rice it out like GTR Spec-V NISMO Neuberger Ring edition
