Long time lurker. Had the pleasure of driving the "Tail of the dragon" in TN and NC. SOOOOOO FUNNNNNN. Don't worry, i did not get stupid and reckless, not the kind of guy i am. 318 curves in 11 miles is definitely a fun ride. My 08 sedan is definitely a good time. Only got almost run off the road three times.....and saw zero semis which is a veryyyy good thing. Going into the blind curves is always a little hair raising because you don't know what is coming from the other direction. If you ever get the opportunity to drive it....DO ITTTTT. Be careful of the semis, motorcycles.....and cops.....the cops are out there and it can be easy pickin'.

 

Tails of the Dragon is a fun road indeed, just stay in your lane in the corners and you should be ok lol

This is one of the things I love about living in Tennessee: tons and tons of curvy, windy backroads. The Dragon just happens to be the one that's most well-known. There's also Devil's Elbow up near Memphis.

 

Ran the Dragon for ZDayz and it was great. I thought the course was relatively easy compared to Georgia's Blood Mountain.

 

Sounds like some fun. I wish I knew of some fun roads around SW Florida that I could get to easily.
