Windows Stuck?
Whats up Ya'll- First ? i have is about my windows. It might just be the humidity or something but the windows are all slow as hell going up and down. i did a reset a few years ago when i had this problem and it was awesome until about a week ago. after trying some of the restes that i researched nothing seemed to work. I dont think i did the right one but if anyone could let me know the proper procedure that would be a huge help!
thanks ahead of time guys

I had the same problem many times...except it wasn't the reset that fixed it.
The dealer just put silicone gel to lube the sides of the window and that fixed it temporarily. The problem is that the window isn't riding smoothly with the rails...some dust, sand, etc might have gotten into it causing a rough operation.

yeah i think i am going to drive my *** back up there but is this just a temp fix or? all of the windows are at different speeds and the both front windows are wacked out. get stuck, sometimes roll up really slow and the function where the windowns go up/down automatically is not working either. Do you know the correct reset or no? thanks for the advice man

Yeah, this happens to my car too...the silicone does the trick, but once it gets cold again, I think I would need more silicone gel. My two front windows have this issue where they get stuck or move extremely slowly up the rails, but the rear two are fine. This fix isn't permanent though, and I believe the only true permanent fix is to take it apart and replace the rubber lining and the rails...at least that's what the dealership told me. I don't want to spend too much so I just opted for the silicone gel. The window regulator assembly may have to be replaced too.
